Happy Fathers Day, Daddy!

Kyle, Kaden and I took both of our parents to Mexico back in May (so Kaden was six months). I took this picture when Kyle went back to the house to take a nap.. I thought that it would be a great Fathers Day present! I took this picture to my brother Kevin and told him that I wanted it a 12" by 12" and asked him if he could make the sand look smother and do the color better.. Kevin did everything I asked plus more (this is what it looked like before he got a hold of it). Thanks bub!!! Kyle loved it on Fathers Day!!

Two peas in a pod

As most of you know Kyle and I moved from New Mexico to Arkansas.. Our next door neighbors have a son three months younger than Kaden and his name is Kaden as well!! So on the left is Morgan and Kaden and on the right is of course Kaden and I.. Ironic huh?

Kaden's first wedding

When we went to Albuquerque last weekend we attended Kyle's cousins wedding. This picture was taken at the reception. After they cut the cake all of a sudden this loud music came on.. Kyle and I were afraid that Kaden was going to get scared (I think it scared us more). He loved it!! He was dancing and giggling!!

PRICELESS!!

Kyle, Kaden and I went to back to Albuquerque last weekend to visit family and the best of friends! This is Mychele, Ashley and Kaden all grow'n up since the last time they had been together.. They were used to seeing each other about three times a week, and now that we live in Arkansas it has been two months:( We miss ya' all so much!!!!

"Did you say something, mom?"

Why do all of us moms/dads and grandmas/grandpas buy our kids toys? They always go for cardboard boxes, the dogs toys, cords, hangers (hints the picture).. I was hanging clothes in the closet and I had a pile of hangers in the floor, and of course my little shadow was right by me. He thought that was the coolest thing!

This picture was taken over the 4th of July.. Kyle, Kaden and I went back home to Illinios to visit family and we ended up at my Uncle Sam's house watching fireworks, eating hotdogs and smores' around the camp fire. If ya' all didn't know that my dad is a twin, well now you do.. My Uncle Larry is on the left and my dad is on the right they actually are holding the other ones grandkid (?don't ask me?).

First Time At The Park

We had the best time yesterday at the park! It was a beautiful day and we thought "why waste it?" Kaden went down the slide by his self (that didn't work out very well), so then we held him while going down the slide and he swung in the swing that he is still too small for.. We also took Tucker so he could get some fresh air because of his injury and he just loved it!

How Many Toys Does He Need?

Kaden is in this stage now that he just loves toys and books! He will lay on his blanket, and if we put toys around him he will roll over and pick up one. Usually it goes right to his mouth... After he is done chewing on it he will hold it infront of his face and just stare at it. Kyle and I read him books and he loves to hold the pages if not close it on us while reading.. I love the stage he is in!! I tell my mom that I don't think it could get any better, but she always says "you will say that with every stage, it just gets better and better"! Thanks mom for all the wonderful advice and love that you give me!!!

" I Ate Real Food"

Kaden got to eat real food today! His first meal was carrots (they were such a mess). He surprisingly did very well! At first it took him a while to realize that he didn't have to suck, but towards the end of the feeding it was like I couldn't feed him fast enough. Kyle and I just can't believe how fast time goes when you have a little one!

A Day In The Sun!

Today it was about 75 degrees outside, so we thought we would take advantage of it. This was Kaden's first time sun bathing and he just loved it! We took him outside in just a diaper and we all layed in the sun for about an hour. We had a great time together!!!

My Little Gangsters

I couldn't resist a picture of these two gangsters the other night... We had just got back from our small groups and they were both laying there just looking so cute and so much alike! I think that he is going to be a Daddy's boy!

Little Talker

Our sweet little Kaden has started to talk...! I just took a little clip of him starting to talk, he is much louder than this and does it for much longer. I was just testing to see if it would work on here... Seems like it is just fine, so I will have to update it and have you all see the real thing!

Our Early Bird!

Kaden has done well sleeping ever since he was two months old! He is like a little alarm clock though.. He wakes up at 7 on the dot every morning, and is always full of these huge smiles! He is definitely an early bird (loves his mornings)! Can't you tell that we have a jelous dog? If we can't find Tucker, we always know to look by Kaden...

Kaden's 4 Month Check-Up

This morining we went to Kaden's 4 month doctors appt. He is currently at 12 pounds and 25 inches long. The doctor said that he is doing great, but now its time to do one jar of baby food a day. So I will keep you updated on how it is going, and of course I will take a picture of his first feeding out of a spoon. I just love this outfit on him! Stefanie, Norma, and Trudy (best friend and her mom and mother-in-law) got this for him at his baby shower. He finally fits in it! It reminds me of Kaden and I's Pap. We miss you Pap!

Dad... Wake up!

Dad.. Wake up, I am ready to play!! Kaden and Kyle are two peas in a pod. Kaden gets enough lovin from me in one day and can't wait for his Daddy to come home so they can rough house. It seems like every time that Kyle falls asleep Kaden is talking or screaming loud so his Dad will play with him instead of take a nap..

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Kyle's Birthday was on the 21st of February. That morning we all got up and I fixed Kyle breakfast while Kaden and Daddy were hangin out on the couch. When Kyle finished breakfast Kaden gave his Daddy a birthday card from him.. *Of course Kaden picked it out all by his self* We kind of took it easy that day. I gave Kyle a hair cut, we took a nap, we went to Outback(and I surprised him with a few of our friends). Happy birthday, Baby!

This Little Piggie went to the market......

Here are pictures of Kaden's little piggies. They are just the cutest! I love to kiss his feet all the time and his Daddy loves to tickle them all the time... Guess he gets a good combination with the two of us. God knew what he was doing when he said "Man and Women", what a good balance! I make him sweet and his daddy makes him ornery.

Kaden's new thing is kicking.. He loves it, and he kicks hard! Kyle and I always say that he is our little soccer player, so we couldn't resist a picture with his new favorite toy. His Aunt Janelle and cousins MaKenna and Kennley gave this to him for Christmas, thanks guys he loves it! And we all love you!

OUR FAMILY CIRCLE! This is probably my favorite picture of all three of us.. Even though it is not of our faces. I love to hold my boys' hands! One of our friends in small groups took several pictures of us last week and they all turned out great. Thanks, Alex!
